  I think there's no better symbol of the GAC than something I discovered one Sunday in its bakery case: a Turtle Scone. How good was it? Well, one could not tell where the chunks of chocolate and nuts left off and the scone began. I make it a point to visit the GAC on alternate weekends when I'm in Eau Claire. I've never been disappointed with any of their specials.

  Great traditional breakfast with $2 coffee plus free refills. This hole-in-the-wall, neat with tight seating makes it one of a kind places in Eau Claire. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile.
